TYPOGRAPHY & LAYOUT FOR MY ZINE
November 01, 2017
Learning to decide what time of typography to use within my Zine wasn't easy. I had, what seemed too many ideas for me to decide which font to go for. I chose to go for a basic font which related to my subculture along with this I used the drop shadow tool and typography text tool on photoshoot. I tried to make it unique and different by changing the text and layout. For my Zine I went for an A5 layout for my Zine and I wanted it to be simple yet easy to read and a good size.
I wanted to use the same font throughout my Zine so choosing the right one was crucial. I did decide on a font which was suitable for the look of my Zine which really stood out. I know Im probably rambling on in this post about boring stuff but ah well! I really found this part of the project the most interesting part just because i feel the typography really makes the whole Zine come together. Spending a good 20 mins figuring out how to do the drop shadow and changing the font wave length was so worth it for the final outcome!
